EVENT OVERVIEW – Not On The High Street’s Touring Boutique Store

Building on the success of #ColourSaturday from 2015, Not on the High Street’s showcase of smaller, creative industries that would stand out amid the chaotic, mass consumption carnage of Black Friday, Not on the High Street wanted to make 2016 bigger and better. This means a bigger experiential campaign, where more consumers can engage with the brand.

THE BRIEF – Create a beautiful, personalised OOH Shopping Experience

Working with our clients, The Persuaders, we sourced and transformed a 40ft shipping container into a touring, boutique store, where shoppers could meet the Not on the High Street Parters, the makers (Elves) and touch and feel some of the products available to buy through the website.

THE SOLUTION – A perfectly designed inside and out converted 40ft Shipping Container

GTMS sprayed the container white, and applied vinyl graphics on all sides, as well as adding white LED strip lighting around the edge of both long sides. The interior was all bespoke, from the fireplace, the shelving units, flooring, ceiling and opening doors, GTMS customised the entire container.

The theme of the store was to get shoppers in the mood for buying Christmas gifts and to take inspiration from the products on display. The design of the store followed Not on the High Street brand of white, light and bright, so their take on Christmas followed suit; no tinsel to be found! The interior of the container was light and bright, and the display areas were open and clear, and expertly showed off the products.

The #ColourSaturday container is on tour throughout November & December 2016 on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the UK. GTMS are also supporting with the logistics of the tour.

We are really proud of this container conversion, it was hard work but the finished result is spectacular!
