EVENT OVERVIEW

Vodafone sponsored the Capital FM Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium, as part of their commitment to music, they also sponsor the ‘Big Top 40’ across the Globals radio network. In 2016 Vodafone launched the Future Breakers competition, to find the best unsigned DJ or artist. The winner would play at the Summertime Ball. To celebrate Future Breakers, Vodafone activated their sponsorship of the ball with full branding inside and outside of the stadium.

THE BRIEF

With a very short lead time, Freeman XP asked GTMS to produce all of the branding, print and props to theme the famous Wembley walkway and outside areas and create a ‘festival’ vibe. The Future Breakers pre party was an area outside of the Stadium with a stage, where all Future Breakers shortlisted artists would preform.

SOLUTION

GTMS printed all large format items in-house and designed and created the large props, which included directional signage, tree decoration, set and stage print and flags.  Additionally there was a ‘back stage area’ which was open to the public and included custom-built beauty booths, a secret garden with oversized deck chairs and tulips. Inside the Stadium in the VIP area, GTMS added further beauty booths and more themed décor. GTMS managed the onsite installation and derig and liaised with all Wembley H&S.
