EVENT OVERVIEW – NFL Regent Street Shutdown

In October the The award-winning ‘NFL on Regent Street’ returned for its fourth year on Saturday 1st October, when central London became home to the massive NFL fan festival where GTMS built and installed and interactive fanzone.

Working with IMG Live in the US, and their client Marriott Rewards who a key sponsor of the NFL, they wanted an engagement experience for all of the Marriott Rewards customers to visit, they wanted to create an authentic ‘tailgate party’ on Regent Street.  The Marriott Rewards football fun precedes the kickoff of the NFL International Series game on 2nd October.

THE SOLUTION – An 8m long interactive zone with huge 3D props and games

GTMS worked with IMG Live to create an interactive zone, with a strong nod towards a tailgate party. GTMS produced several impressive set elements to bring the space to life, including the touch down zone; a 8m x 5m printed astroturf flooring, a giant 3m NFL crest emerging from the ground, with faux boulders. GTMS also designed and produced a ‘hole in the wall’ game for visitors to compete for points and prizes. The Marriott Rewards zone was the place to be face painted, as well and meet some key NFL players.

GTMS managed the production and installation of all elements on the stand for their US based client, as well as offering production support on the day and installing overnight.
