EVENT OVERVIEW – Casper House Pop-Up Shop

Casper launched its first physical UK store in London’s Covent Garden in November 2016 – January 2017. The pop up shop, open for three months, encouraged customers to pass by or book a ‘snooze session’ for a power nap to test out its offering of mattresses, sheets and pillows.

THE BRIEF – A complete shop fit out a central London unit

Working for our client, Sunshine, GTMS were tasked with turning the pop up shop design from paper plans into a physical reality. Working to a tight deadline from concept through to completion, a complete shop fit out of an empty 100sqm unit was required in a challenging location.

THE SOLUTION – A beautifully designed pop-up house interior all in a 2D style

GTMS used their previous shop fit out expertise in selecting the most suitable and durable materials for the install. GTMS designed and built all 3D elements and produced all printed surfaces. All elements of the pop up followed the brand design of ‘simple and clear’, including the clearly defined zones within the store to replicate the home.

Casper House Shop Fit Out Exterior 2GTMS transformed the empty unit, including all flooring, ceilings, walls, design features, display points, window displays and shop facia as well as managing electric and all services within the unit. Within the fit out, GTMS produced enhanced details, such as moving clouds for the window display, lighting within the bedside lamp and exterior lamp graphics and moving images within the TV and fishbowl.

As part of the project, GTMS liaised with Covent Garden estate management and managed the install during anti-social hours. Throughout the lifespan of the project, GTMS offered full project management to our clients and ongoing consultancy.

GTMS have since won and been nominated for several other awards for the large scale print and production undertaken in this project. Read more here…
